The key to every good outfit

So, if your anything like me then detail is key and there is nothing worse then having killer heels and a smashing outfit if you have undone and broken nails. I've found that through something as simple as a good set of nails it can honestly transform your whole look; nails for me are a must and should never be ignored, EVER!!! A lot of people say that it will damage your nails and you won't be able to keep having them but take it from me, thats rubbish and you can as long as you look after them. I've been having mine done for almost 6 years and have never had a problem.

So, here are a couple of tips to keep your nails fresh and fantastic for any occasion.

Length -

1. Choose a length that is practical for you, for example, if you have children or work in the hair and beauty industry then do not have them long.

2. If you have an occasion i.e. a party or a ball or even a wedding, length really does not matter as you will most likely not be doing a whole lot that will cause you to catch them or brake them, so go big or go home.

3. My best tip is to get them longer for an event, then, a couple of days after go and get them cut down so that they last longer. Alternatively, if your on a budget go and get a good file and do it your self.

Colour -

1. Know your colours, if you would normally wear a particular colour then stick to that. For example, I wear a lot of pinks and blacks so i'd steer towards them colours.

2. You can be adventurous if you have an event or an occasion; why not, after all it can be changed or even try changing the tip colour.

Shape -

1. OK, so i would say try every shape, but my only tip would be to start with a point and then as they grown out and you have them filled in you can make them square so your really killing two birds with one stone.

Infills -

1. Do not leave them more then 4 weeks tops, I would go every 3 weeks and which keeps them fresh and stops any unnecessary breakage.

2. Do not try doing them yourself! Trust me i've done it and its never as good and people will look at you as if you have some random lumpy nails. Yuk.

So peeps, I hope that this has given you some help and please feel free to message me any questions you might have.
